What's it really like living in Decatur?
OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 57,760, Decatur is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? Thanks! People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
