Freelancing from Decorah -experience?

Been meaning to ask this. Just moved here 5 months ago and Rent is about $788/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $788 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. TIA! There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
