Dedham job market vs Tampa

Anyone else feel this way? Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $124,375 in Dedham. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. What would you do? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Midtown. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in retail. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
