Why I chose Deer Park over bigger cities

Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The cost of living is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The cultural scene is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
