Working in Deer Park -salaries realistic?

First post here. We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $138,950, which feels pretty solid for the area. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here?

Bought a house here in 2019 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The cost of living is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
