Job market in Deerfield Beach — what industries are hiring?

I'm in retail and considering a move to Deerfield Beach, FL. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 3.4% which seems pretty good. But what does it actually look like on the ground?

Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

Don't sleep on Southside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Old Town. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

I've lived in Pine Grove for 10 years and it's decent, has its pros and cons.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

The job market has been improving lately. Several healthcare companies moved in recently.

As someone who moved here from Seattle, I can confirm most of this. The cost of living surprised me the most.

Respectfully disagree about the job market. In my experience, it's been pretty safe in my area.

Coming from Atlanta, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Pine Grove and Highland Park are perfectly safe.

I work in manufacturing and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 1 months.
