Moving to Deerfield Beach for work -advice?

Rent is about $1,670/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 86,742 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I wrong here? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 8 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
