Best companies to work for in Del Aire?

Curious what people think. My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 9.1%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I've lived in Old Town for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Diverse dining options
- The school system scene is average

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely better than expected and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Midtown) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Dating scene is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
