OK so Crime rate is something to consider -DeLand sits at 574.5 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,159 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
