Moving from Minneapolis to Delhi next month

Curious what people think. I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 7.5%, which is concerning. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I'm a nurse and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from LA about 5 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are established, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.
