Hey, Median household income is $79,393, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $386,700, which seems about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 66,940 people. Homes are going for about $386,700 on average. Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Friendly people
- Close to nature
- Strong sense of community
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Not very walkable
- Mosquitoes and humidity
Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for school and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The cost of living is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Denver about 11 years ago. The main reasons were weather and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are developing, gas is decent.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.
