Raising a family in Delray Beach -thoughts?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $79,393, which feels about average for the area. Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I overthinking this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much developing but now it's excellent.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Springfield. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Hope this helps!.
