Curious what people think. I've been here for 18 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Denham Springs sits at 809.4 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 5.6%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I wrong here? Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
