Is Dennis worth moving to in 2026?
Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I've lived in Uptown for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The safety scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
