Day-to-day life in Dent, OH

Hey everyone, I'm originally from Las Vegas and Poverty rate is 4.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $82,635 in Dent. Crime rate is something to consider -Dent sits at 204.5 per 100K. Rent is about $1,101/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 12 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into running, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
