What's it really like living in Denton?

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider — Denton sits at 233.9 per 100K. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've lived in Springfield for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- The community vibe scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
