Why I chose Denver over bigger cities
I'm originally from Boston and Household incomes average around $91,681 in Denver. The median home value here is around $586,700, which is pretty steep. It's a a major city city with about 714K people. Median household income is $91,681, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to.
Pros:

- Walkable downtown
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- High property taxes
- Boring for young people
- Chain restaurants dominate
