Unpopular opinion about Derby
First post here. I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $82,089 in Derby. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $82,089, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Derby? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
