Moving to Derry -what should I know?

Hey, I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $88,901 in Derry. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Derry sits at 98.0 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? Thanks for reading. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
