Random thought, With a population of 2,616, Derry is a small town. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? TIA!

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Westside. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in marketing. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like seafood.
