Best restaurants in Des Moines?

Been meaning to ask this. Household incomes average around $63,966 in Des Moines. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective.

I work in marketing here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is underrated. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Tampa about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are stable, gas is solid.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Came here for family and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The traffic is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
