Desert Hot Springs in the winter -how bad?

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. Rent is about $1,339/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 15.5%, which is higher than I expected. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The safety is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
