Rent vs buy in Desert Palms -what makes sense?

Hey everyone, Median household income is $81,954, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so With a population of 6,522, Desert Palms is a small town. Poverty rate is 9.4%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
