Hello, Median household income is $83,256, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Eastside. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in real estate. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..
