Is DeSoto still affordable?

Alright, We have two kids and Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -DeSoto sits at 325.8 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? Thanks for reading. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great sushi places. I have mixed feelings honestly.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.
