What's it really like living in DeSoto?

Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. Thanks in advance! I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I work in consulting here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is challenging. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in The Heights area are excellent. Kids love it here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 9 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
