Curious what people think. I grew up here but left for a while. Household incomes average around $89,141 in Destin. The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,913/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 14,018 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Thanks in advance! The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
