Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and It's a a small town city with about 11,786 people. The unemployment rate is 6.7%, which is concerning. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to.
