Detroit then vs now - how much has changed?

Throwaway thought - Single, 26, work in education. Median income here is around which {inc_feel}. Grocery prices are creeping up but still manageable. Thoughts?

Renter's perspective: I could find cheaper but love the neighborhood. I'm in West Village and it's hit or miss. Definitely shop around though.

Gonna share a detailed perspective since most replies are pretty surface-level.

I'm a college grad in Palmer Woods. Been here since 2018. Traffic has gotten noticeably worse in the past year..

Neighborhood-wise, Palmer Woods has really evolved in the past few years. West Village is the up-and-coming spot right now. Rosedale Park is where I'd look if budget is a concern.

Job market for marketing: solid. For logistics: affordable.

I feel like {city} is becoming more expensive without getting better.
