How is the nightlife in Detroit?

Longtime lurker here, I grew up here but left for a while. You can expect to pay around $1,034 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Has anyone dealt with this?

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Miami it's decent.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.
