The unemployment rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 14 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
