First post here. We're a young couple and With a population of 1,006, Dexter is a small town. Poverty rate is 18.0%, which is higher than I expected. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
