Is Diamond Bar good for remote workers?

Longtime lurker here, The median home value here is around $867,000, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 53,750 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Diamond Bar sits at 127.7 per 100K. Rent is about $2,422/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What would you do? The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
