We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in North area are challenging. Kids love it here.

I've lived in The Heights for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options
- The dating scene scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Summers can be brutally hot
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..
