Dog-friendly places in Diamondhead?

Hello, Just moved here 18 months ago and Median household income is $86,208, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $86,208 in Diamondhead. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Used to live on the West side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

I've lived in North for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights
- The outdoor recreation scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
