Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from San Francisco and Poverty rate is 13.4%, which is around average. Household incomes average around $77,321 in Dibble. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned?

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Springfield. It's better than expected for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like seafood.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
