Anyone regret moving to D'Iberville?

Alright, I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $1,177 for rent here. With a population of 13,033, D'Iberville is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is improving. Tons of great seafood places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

I've lived in Downtown for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The job market scene is tough

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
