I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 42--F, so bundle up in winter. You can expect to pay around $963 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any advice would be great. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much wild but now it's decent.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Boston about 10 years ago. The main reasons were weather and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are wild, gas is improving.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..
