Crime rate is something to consider -Dickinson sits at 312.8 per 100K. Poverty rate is 12.4%, which is around average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
