Pros and cons of Dillon after 10 years
Hi all, I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $624/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $624 for rent here. Poverty rate is 39.7%, which is higher than I expected. Homes are going for about $110,000 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
