Life in Dix Hills as a young professional

Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Moved here from Houston about 1 years ago. I love the pace of life here. Still getting used to weather but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
