Curious what people think. Just moved here 4 months ago and Household incomes average around $98,798 in Dixon. Crime rate is something to consider -Dixon sits at 259.9 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Worth the trade-offs? Appreciate any input. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
