Just moved to Dixon, any tips?

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 7.2%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,728 for rent here. Median household income is $98,798, which feels pretty solid for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I'm a nurse and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Highland area are tough. Kids love it here.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Charlotte it's excellent.

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
