Doctor Phillips housing prices -when will it stop?

OK so I work in healthcare and Poverty rate is 11.2%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 6.1%, which is concerning. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do?

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely improving and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (The Heights) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I work in healthcare here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is pretty good. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
