Biggest downsides of living in Dodge City?
Longtime lurker here, Military spouse here. Household incomes average around $67,958 in Dodge City. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,652 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What are your go-to spots? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
