Pros and cons of Dodge City after 9 years

Been meaning to ask this. Median household income is $67,958, which feels about average for the area. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $982/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Good job market
- Good schools
- Easy commute
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Sprawl everywhere
- Boring for young people
- Poor road conditions
Anyone in a similar situation? TIA! People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
