Best coffee shops in Dodgeville?

Hi all, We have two kids and Crime rate is something to consider -Dodgeville sits at 127.3 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Worth the trade-offs? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the Springfield side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in finance. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
