The good and bad of living in Dolan Springs

Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $91,500 on average. Poverty rate is 11.0%, which is around average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Anyone in a similar situation?

I've lived in Midtown for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The traffic scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Definitely worth checking out..
