Best neighborhoods to rent in Dolton?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Median household income is $58,706, which feels about average for the area. Household incomes average around $58,706 in Dolton. With a population of 20,979, Dolton is a small town. Rent is about $1,399/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Nashville about 4 years ago. The main reasons were family and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Four distinct seasons
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
