Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Atlanta and Household incomes average around $58,706 in Dolton. You can expect to pay around $1,399 for rent here. Poverty rate is 14.9%, which is around average. With a population of 20,979, Dolton is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
